One of the great myths of our times stamps secularists and neo-pagans as well as conservative Christians. Progressivism is our leading unexamined assumption.
Liberal progressivism officially commenced in America in 1787 when the cadre of Enlightenment and Masonic theistic rationalists (aka constitutional framers) replaced the early 1600 governments of, by, and for God expressly established upon His immutable moral law with their own humanistic government of, by, and for the people based upon capricious man-made traditions (aka the biblically seditious Constitution).
It was at this same time that liberty was officially lost in America. This occurred when the 18th-century founding fathers made liberty a goal (almost a God, as previously in France) instead of a corollary resulting from establishing the Bible's perfect law of liberty (Psalm 19:7-11, 119:44-45, and James 2:12, etc) as the law of the land.
