I very much hope you can get this message out to as many platforms as possible. Piper’s dangerous message is so devastating for all those self righteous Christians looking for an excuse to not engage next week! Thank you for thoughtfully responding!!

I would like to see your take on this new accusation of "Christian Nationalism" and "Trumpism" by the usual suspects (ERLC, TGC & Michael Horton, Beth "Eisegesis" Moore, etc.)

These folks have been operational pietists for years and turned the faith into ecclesial navel gazing. Trump’s pro-life and -American message offends their tender sensibilities. Not that he doesn’t have massive problems of his own. His fulsome bragging about being the most pro-gay President ever is reprehensible.

Yes, I agree, his bragging & obnoxious behavior, in general, are extremely annoying, but the "pro-gay" stuff is awful - that being said, it's like every other choice we've had in my lifetime - pick the one who will more likely support fundamental freedoms and individual responsibility over the leftist, child-murdering, anti-Christian, authoritarian, socialists who "are just here to help" - it's really not a hard choice

Thank you for this reminder. I have found among the 'young restless, reformed' crowd a kind of, what I would call - 'hyper-calvinism' - that reacts against any thought of God's 'emotions' etc. Impassability as a doctrine seems to put the possibility of altering God's mind out of the picture. How is it best to respond to these ideas? (other than just sending this article, :) )

They just need to read the Bible and quit relying on philosophical theism, which is tinged with Gnosticism. So many Reformed writers (like Packer, Nash, and Frame) have addressed the problem. Thank you for the encouragement!

Someone please provide me a moral, spiritual, and a biblical defense for voting for either sodomite-promoting Biden or Trump, especially in light of Romans 1:32 and 1 Timothy 5:22.

Of course, it can't be done. Only those hoodwinked into trying to save the biblically egregious Constitutional Republic rather than advancing the Kingdom of God would even try to do so.

The fact is the entire Constitutional Republic's unbiblical election process is a usurpation of Yahweh's exclusive One-Vote election authority, per Deuteronomy 17:10 & 15, etc.

One of the dumbest things the constitutional framers did (and there's plenty to choose from) is to usurp Yahweh's One-Vote election authority and thereby turn election "discretion" over to We the People, the majority of whom according to Christ in Matthew 7:13 are in the broad way leading to destruction. Gee, what could go wrong? Everything, just look around you!

Unbiblical Constitutional Republic voting will never save America from the precipice of moral depravity and destruction that We-the-People voting sent her to.

We have not been called to save the Republic. We've been commissioned to advance the Kingdom. The fact is in trying to save the Republic, today's Christian have all but lost the Kingdom to the anti-Christs and non-Christians.

Time to get back to what we've been called to: Advancing the Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven, per Matthew 6:10 & 33, Romans 12:21, 13:1-7, 1 Corinthians 6:1-6, 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, etc.

Not only is saving the biblically egregious Constitutional Republic (from its inception) not our calling, it's an impossibility per Christ in Matthew 7:26-27 & 12:25.

What you wrote (and as far as I understood it) differs from the position taken by Francis Schaefer in his book The Christian Manifesto. The wrong political system is the foundation that the founding fathers of America laid, but the Christian worldview is at its core. You argue that it is not so important that some of the modern politicians are Christian and some are not, but the main thing is that there is a system of checks and balances. You say that we should be glad that this system supposedly works today. This is the Marxist idea, which sounds like this: being, (that is, the correct system) determines consciousness. This is not true! But it is consciousness (worldview) that determines being. That is, only the Christian worldview determines our being, and whether it will work, whatever system you are.

Election theft and election fraud is nothing new to the Constitutional Republic's unbiblical election system. In fact, they are both inherent in its abominable election process.

Today's election theft is a case of the biblical principle known as lex talionis - an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. Being the constitutional framers usurped (stole) Yahweh's exclusive election authority (per Deuteronomy 17:10 & 15, etc.), this election is likewise being stolen from Trump. And this is certainly not the first time; neither will it be the last.

Election fraud is unavoidable any election system wherein election results are left for humans to determine. This is one of the reasons why God never intended fickle finite humans to vote for anything, especially their civil leaders, and especially biblically unqualified civil leaders, thanks to Article 6's Christian test ban.

One of the dumbest things the constitutional framers did was to usurp Yahweh's election authority and thereby turn election "discretion" over to We the People the majority of whom, according to Christ in Matthew 7:13, are in the broad way leading to destruction. Gee, what could go wrong?

Where do you suppose the broad-way, destruction bunch are going to take America? Perhaps to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction, precisely where America finds herself today!?!

For more, google blog article "Constitutional Elections: Dining at the Devil's Table.'"

For how the Bible's One-Vote election system operates, see blog article "Salvation by Election." Don't be fooled by the title.

America and the United States of America are *not* the same thing.

America who's early 1600 governments of, by, and for God expressly established upon His immutable moral law was sacrificed (given its obituary) on the altar of the late 1700s United States of America (aka the Constitutional Republic) and its humanistic government of, by, and for the people based upon capricious man-made Enlightenment and Masonic traditions (aka the biblically seditious Constitution).

"[B]ecause they have ... trespassed against my law ... they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind...." (Hosea 8:1, 7)

Today's America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today's hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today's whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.

For more regarding these two polar opposite forms of government, see online Chapter 3 "The Preamble: We the People vs. Yahweh" of "Bible Law vs, the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective."

Have you checked out the evidence that George Floyd actually died of a fatal dose of drugs, which explains why he was out of control and the policemen may have been using minimum force after all? This is not to say it was not a planned, contrived media event to justify the theft, destruction, and murders that followed.

Excellent article! Blessings on you, brother. Piper is disappointing but this is not surprising. Red flags appeared long ago and I particularly wish someone would thoughtfully critique his unbiblical basis for everything he believes and teaches- namely the "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him" mantra in light of John 15:8. The Bible only ever states that God is glorified by faith, obedience, and therefore the bearing of fruit for His Kingdom.
